map of recent earthquake in chile

Whoa! This year the earthquake’s ain’t no joke. A 8.8 Magnitude hit Chile this morning killing at least 16 people but the death toll is still rising. The epicenter of the earthquake was just 70 miles from Concepcion, Chile’s second-largest city. In Santiago, the capital, telephone and power outages made it difficult to determine the extent of the damage.

There has been an overwhelming amount of large magnitude earthquakes this year especially in the Caribbean and Latin America. The most damaging of course was the earthquake in Haiti in January that killed over 200,000 people.

  1. Solar Panels says:

As energy prices sky rocket the prices of solar panels will only go up. This will hopefully prove that solar panels will be a great investment for anyone wanting to save some money or help the environment. Either way, solar panels really should be at the top of the “to do” list. Someone has recommended Solar Panels so I am really looking forward to getting them.

  3. Appreciating an article like this is really will make me happy. Spamming has really been an abuse, not only blaming the site quality but also wasting an article of such information, publishers are really happy when they get comments appreciating their hard work, But it hurts when its spammed just for promotion of a product but not the information.

  4. Miss Cholula says:

I really like the fresh perpective you did on the issue. Really was not expecting that when I started off studying. Your concepts were easy to understand that I wondered why I never looked at it before. Glad to know that there’s an individual out there that definitely understands what he’s discussing. Great job!
