WTF:Climate Change is Attacking the Livers of Bolivian Dogs

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

drunk doggie

Walking around Cochabamba, Bolivia many in our delegation have been suprised by the amount of passed out dogs on the city streets. At times we had to take a second look just to make sure the dogs were even breathing. We caught up with one of the United States  Environmental Justice  delegates Julien Terrell who told us an interesting story on his experience trying to give a poor pup some water check it out to find out the dogs surprising response.

The fact that dog’s are so surprised when someone offers them water was completely understandable once we saw this picture

A whole river run dry right near the University in Cochabamba. Climate Change, Damn.

“Umm….That’s a Tad Bit Racist”. MissKGreen Fills Out the 2010 U.S. Census

Monday, March 29th, 2010

hmm.. so many options to be black, African-American or...

Okay it’s SUPER Important to fill out the census. How do we know? Because Kirin Kennedy with the League of Young Voters told us so a couple weeks ago in a previous post. However, like many folk who work on soul time (aka cp time) I waited till the last minute to fill mine out only to find out whoever created the census was even farther behind than me. If you are of African descent and already filled out the census, good for you, but I’m pretty sure you know what I mean when I say WTF is up with this Census form? Check out the homie Whitney and I filling out our 2010 census. FYI: we drop a few f-bombs so you may want to get some headphones if you are at work.
