The BP oil spill has been an eye-opener for many on the destructive forces of dirty oil. However, for residents of the gulf coast that story is old news. Check the video from Al Jazeera’s Fault Lines discussing the history of Dirty Oil and Industry in the Gulf Coast.

Our good folk at Oakland Local passed along this story. Apparently BP just launched a social media PR campaign to take some of the heat off of themselves for the oil spill.
