Caution it's a state of Emergency!

All across the east coast a state of emergency was called due to the winter Snowpocalypse. Everything from corner stores to subway stations never opened yesterday and over the past weekend leaving many major cities to shut down almost completely. Although the winter snow is starting to slow down Checktheweather.net wants to make sure our readers know what to do in case of an emergency and/or natural disaster. Come on ya’ll know Haiti could be the Bay Area any day so here are our tips for staying woke.

1. Visit Ready.gov

Ready.gov is a site managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency aka FEMA (they getting it together ya’ll).
