Residents Of Baltimore’s Black Arts District Are Fighting Blight By Hosting A Cleanup Day This Earth Month

Bring your gloves, trash grabbers, and join Residents of Argyle Ave, Checktheweather.net, and more for an Earth Month Cleanup, on April 30th, 9:30 am – 12 pm in the Black Arts District of West Baltimore!

The clean-up day is part of the Spring Cleanup hosted by Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW). We hope you can join us for a morning of fighting blight in Central West Baltimore. Mayor Scott’s Spring Cleanup will take place April 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community associations, block leaders, and organizations throughout the Baltimore City can call 311 to register their cleaning activities and volunteer or visit https://mayor.baltimorecity.gov/sign-form-day-service. In addition, during this citywide day of cleaning, individual residents are welcome to clean where they live by cleaning up loose litter around their properties, alleyways, and curbsides.
